Woman dies following collision in Dawlish

A woman in her 80s has died following a road traffic collision involving a mobility scooter in Dawlish on Wednesday 13 November.

Emergency services were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a blue Peugeot and a mobility scooter on Exeter Road, Dawlish, at around 11.55am.

The mobility scooter user, a local woman, was taken to Derriford Hospital but sadly passed away as a result of her injuries.

The driver of the car was not injured.

Police are appealing for any witnesses that have not already spoken to them, but who may have seen the collision, or have dash camera footage, to contact police by calling 101, quoting reference number 50240287671.
