A woman was rescued today by firefighters after a tree fell on her in Teignmouth.
The incident happened in Bligh Close, Teignmouth at around 12.45pm
Fire crews from Teignmouth were mobilised to reports of a person trapped under a fallen tree.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said on their website:
“On arrival crews discovered a female casualty with a tree that had fallen on her. She had head arm, neck and shoulder injuries.
“The casualty was removed to a safe location using small tools and chocks,”
