Woman rescued from car after RTC this morning

Emergency services were called to an RTC in Teignmouth this morning.

Two fire appliances from Teignmouth and one from Dawlish were mobilised to the RTC just after 8am this morning.

Police and Ambulance crews also attended.

The RTC involved two vehicles and there were three casualties.

A Fire service spokeperson said:
“One female casualty was trapped in one of the vehicles. Crews got to work with hydraulic rescue equipment and small tools to release the casualty.

“Crews released the casualty who was transferred to hospital. Two further casualties had slight neck injuries and were seen to by paramedics,”
