“At about 1940 hours on Friday evening eight males were stopped on Bolton Street, Brixham, having been in Brixham for around 10 minutes. All eight were arrested, one on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon, two for drug offences and five in order to prevent a breach of the peace. Enquiries are continuing. A further male was arrested later on St Marys Road.
“At about 1600 hours on Saturday afternoon a male was arrested for a knife possession offence, again on St Marys Road!”

Police thanked the public for helping them prevent an incident occurring.
