50ft Sperm Whale washed up on Dawlish beach

The carcass of a sperm whale has washed up on a Dawlish beach overnight.

The whale, which measures around 50ft is on Red Rock beach which is between Dawlish Warren and Dawlish.

Teignbridge district council have asked the public to keep a respectful distance.

A cordon is going to be put up around the carcass.
