A pedestrian has been injured following a collision in St Marychuch, Torquay this afternoon, 22nd April.
The woman is reported to have sustained head injuries after being knocked down by a vehicle.
The air ambulance landed nearby at King George playing fields.
The casualty was transferred from the scene to the air ambulance by land ambulance.
Police remain at the scene on St Marychurch Road, closing part of it. Traffic in the area is building up.
