Appeal for information after cyclist knocked into road

Police have appealed for information after a cyclist was knocked into the road and almost hit by a vehicle in Newton Abbot.

The incident happened last week on Thursday, 26th October at around 5.45pm on a cycle path near Aller Brake Road.

Police state that a young female cyclist was struck by another cyclist who was performing a ‘wheelie’. The offending cyclist did not stop to assist her.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5ft 8ins, aged 14-16 years, with mousey coloured hair which was shaved at the side. He was reported to be wearing a black hoodie and black trainers.
