A 15-year-old girl was walking to school with two friends around 8.30am when they were approached by the man in a lane behind Fisher Road. He stood around one metre away and exposed himself to the group.

Between 8.30am and 8.35am he was seen by another 15-year-old and two friends as they walked along Abbotsbury Road. He was stood at the junction of Bury Road and exposed himself again.

A short time later at around 8.40am he approached another 15-year-old in Rundle Road and exposed himself again.

On each occasion he made lewd remarks to the children and walked off after they ignored his advances.
Police are seeking a suspect who is described as white, in his mid-20s and of thin build. He has short dark hair and is clean shaven. On the day of the offences he was possibly wearing dark-coloured jeans and a green or yellow top.

Officers are hoping to speak to any members of the public who saw this man either prior to or after the incidents as they may be able to assist with their enquiries.

PC Jade Carter, based at Newton Abbot, said: “This was very intimidating and shocking for the victims, and we are very keen to identify this suspect. Anyone who witnessed any of these incidents or has seen someone who matches the description acting suspiciously around Newton Abbot is asked to contact police.”
