Appeal for information following burglary in Torquay

Police have appealed information following reports of a burglary in Torquay earlier this week.

The incident was reported to have happened between 4.30 and 6am on Monday, 4 th March at a property on Higher Erith Road.

Police warning over catalytic converter thefts

Access was gained to the property and a number of items stolen, including electrical items, two car keys and a BMW.

One of the car keys was later located nearby by a member of the public and handed in to police.

The suspect is described as being between 5ft 10ins and 6ft tall, of stocky build.

Anyone who witnessed the incident and anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting CR/019531/19.
