Police have appealed for witnesses following a collision in Newton Abbot earlier this week.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving a Honda motorbike and a Kia SUV on Ashburton Road at around 9.20pm on Tuesday 24 May.
Police, ambulance and fire crews attended the incident.
Two people sustained injuries. The motorbike rider, a local man aged in his 40s was taken go Derriford with serious injuries. The car driver, a man aged in his 60s, from Torquay, sustained minor injuries and was taken to Torbay Hospital.
The road was closed whilst investigation and recovery work took place.
