Appeal for witnesses after two teenagers seriously injured in collision

Road closed after two people injured in serious collision

Police have appealed for witnesses following a serious collision in Torquay.

Emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving a blue Lexmoto 125cc motorbike and a grey Mercedes C220 AMG on Westhill Road, at around 11.55pm on Friday 20 May.

Two teenagers, the rider and pillion passenger of the motorbike, both from Torquay, suffered life threatening and life changing injuries. The car driver was uninjured.

One of the teenagers was taken to Torbay Hospital, the other to Bristol Royal Infirmary.

Police closed the road whilst investigation work took place and are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or have any information or dashcam footage that could help the police with their enquiries, to please email 101@dc.police.uk or call 101, quoting quoting log number 1008 of 20/05/22.
