Police have appealed for witnesses following a fatal collision on the A38 yesterday, Sunday 18th October.

A spokesperson for Kingsbridge Police said on Facebook: “Yesterday afternoon we attended a report of an RTC on the A38 just after the Dartbridge A384 on slip. Numerous emergency services and the Devon Air Ambulance attended but unfortunately the driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. If anyone has any information or dashcam footage then please get in touch quoting Log 704 181020. Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the young man.
“On a personal note, we had to close the A38, divert traffic, and help the cars off the A38 which were stuck between the scene and the previous off slip. Everyone was really understanding and patient and for that, we thank you.”
Please call 101 quoting Log 704 – 18th October 2020 with information.
