Appeal for witnesses following fatal crash in Teignmouth

Police have appealed to the public for witnesses and people with dash cam footage following a fatal crash in Teignmouth yesterday, Monday 2nd March.

One person died and two people suffered from minor injuries in the collision involving a Gold Landover Freelander and a Red Peugeot 208

The collision happened on the Junction of the A379 Exeter Road and Quay Road Teignmouth at 2.40pm.

The driver of the freelander, a 73-year-old man from the Teignmouth area was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The 52-year-old female driver of the Peugeot, from the Dawlish area, and her 93-year-old female passenger, from the Teignmouth area, suffered minor injuries.

Anyone who witnessed the incident and anyone with information is asked to contact 101 quoting the Log number 429 02/03/20
