Work to fix the cause has been completed but the signs for the public not to enter the water will remain up until the latest results are back.

Torbay Council posted on social media.
“The signs reminding members of the public not to enter the water at Broadsands Beach are still up. The Environment Agency, along with South West Water, have been investigating the cause of the pollution and work to fix the cause has been completed.

“The Environment Agency are currently awaiting results of their latest tests before giving the go ahead for the signs to be removed. As soon as a further update is available we will post it here,”
