Cat dies after being shot in Torbay

A cat has died after being shot in Preston at the weekend.

Cats Protection Torbay and District said on Facebook that the recently rehomed cat named Connor was killed by an air gun pellet on the evening of Sunday 6th August in the Barcombe Road area.

“He made it home and his distraught owners rushed him to the vets who did all they could to save him but unfortunately he died three hours later.
“He was a beautiful, defenceless, happy cat. 

“If anyone has any information about who might have been responsible please please contact the police telephone number 101, quoting crime number CR065993-17,”
