If you long for a more traditional Christmas this festive season then why not come down to Torquay Museum on Thursday 22nd December from 5.30 – 7.30pm, when there will be carols, mince pies, mulled wine and last minute present buying opportunities in the Museum’s shop.
Traditional carols will be led by Renaissance Folk, a group of medieval acapella singers with beautifully haunting voices, who will invite guests to join them in their carol singing. There will also be music from members of a local brass band.
Visitors can also listen to readings from classic Christmas tales and take the opportunity to engage in last minute Christmas shopping in the Museum Gift Shop.
Tickets, priced £5.50, include a glass of mulled wine/non-alcoholic drink, plus a mince pie, and are available on the evening, or you can reserve your tickets by calling Torquay Museum on 01803 293975.
