Those who love rock and roll from the 1950s and 60s are in for a rare treat as one of the best and most popular Torquay-based rock bands, The Grumpy Old Gits, will play a lively gig at Torquay Museum on Friday 25th November, from 8pm until late.
Tickets are £8 each and most of the money raised from this gig will go to Torquay Museum to help conserve and display some of the precious artefacts from its impressive collection of over 350,000 objects.
The Grumpy Old Gits will be supported by Riviera FM’s DJ Eddie Falcon, whose regular radio show focuses on 1950s Rock and Roll.
Torquay Museum has a large dancefloor and a licensed café serving beer and wine, so a lively and entertaining evening is guaranteed for lovers of classic Rock n’ Roll. However, spaces are limited so fans are strongly advised to book their tickets in advance by contacting Torquay Museum on 01803 293975.
