Torre Abbey is holding family fun workshops this half term on Tuesday 16 and Friday 19 February.
The Abbey will be open all day on these dates from 10am to 4pm for you and your family to explore and enjoy this Historic House and Gardens. The workshops run from 1pm to 4pm and if you think you are up to it – take on the Eeek-a-mouse trail challenge!
Workshops are suitable for all ages so the whole family can get involved in crafting crazy creatures and bonkers birds.
Admissions prices to the House are included at a discounted price of £3.50 for children and £5 for adults, making this wonderful day out even more affordable for this hectic half term.
The 820 year-old Abbey is an atmospheric building drenched in history with a wonderful mix of old and new.
Following a £11m restoration project, the Abbey boasts multi-media technology which includes a talking knight and animated plates in the Victorian Cary dining room.
The shabby chic vintage tearooms offer a wide variety of snacks and drinks, with something for everyone to enjoy.
Executive Lead for Tourism, Culture and Harbours, Councillor Nicole Amil said: “Torre Abbey is a wonderful attraction all year round but activity days like this really are fantastic for you and your children to enjoy.
“With entry to the house at a discounted price this really is a brilliant opportunity for you to see this historic house in all of its beauty.”
