Disruption to water supply due to burst pipe in Torquay

Homes in the TQ1 Area of Torquay may be experiencing a disruption to their water supply this evening, 17th November due to a burst water pipe.

A spokesperson for South West Water
Said on their website: “Our team are continuing to repair the damaged main, which is taking longer than originally anticipated. Water supplies should return to the highest points within the next 2 hours by 21:00.

“For everyone else the water should be back on before, please just check your taps. We apologise for the inconvenience caused.”

  1. Unless they are working across the road in HELE ROAD TQ2 AREA, and somewhere else,this paper cannot even get the postcode correct, warn drivers about the lights that are causing congestion even now 20:57 hrs.
    If anyone is reading this, try to avoid Hele Road, especially in the morning, if they are still working there.

    It will be complete chaos and hold ups, especially if any emergency vehicles need to get through.

    Be warned or you might be late for school/work!!!!
