Riviera Way will have lane closures this evening and overnight from 7pm.
The road will be re-lined following the resurfacing earlier this week.
Torbay Council said on Facebook this morning: “We know roadworks are everyone’s least favourite thing to happen in the Bay at the moment but we need to let you know about some lane closures that will happen tonight from around 7 pm. This will be on both carriageways of Riviera Way so it can be re-lined following the resurfacing. The works will continue over night but will be removed before the morning ?
“The re-lining of Hellevoetsluis Way will be taking place overnight on Wednesday 29th May. Like todays there will be lane closures.
“Monday was a series of unfortunate events due to planned work last week being pushed into this week due to issues obtaining materials (Windy Corner) and contractors having issues with plant machinery and over running into rush hour (Riviera Way). All feedback has been passed to our Highways Team.”
