Amy Jade Smith had to take her two and a half year old daughter to Torbay hospital after she went down the slide and cut her legs on the glass. The child was treated in hospital but fortunately no stitches were required and she returned home later in the evening.

The post on Spotted Torquay has been shared over a thousand times with parents keen to warn each other of the dangers of glass on play equipment.

It is thought the glass may have been smashed and left on the slide deliberately.

The glass has now been removed.
