Emergency services are currently at the scene of an incident at Preston seafront this morning, Friday 28th December.
Police, coastguard, RNLI crews, coastguard helicopter, ambulan and police divers are at the scene following reports of concern for welfare of a man who has entered the sea.
The seafront is currently closed, cordoned off to the public.
Police divers have arrived at the scene and are getting ready to enter the water (11.15 am)
