Man dies following collision in Bovey Tracey

Emergency services were called to reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle in Bovey Tracey just before 2.30am this morning, Saturday 6th October.

The incident happened on the A382, Newton Road, Bovey Tracey.

Emergency services attended but sadly a man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The road was closed whilst police investigated. Diversions were put in place. The road reopened just before 8.30am.

Officers from the Alliance Roads Policing Team are investigating the collision and would ask that anyone with information contact the Police on 101 quoting the log number 147 of 6th October.
