A man has sustained serious injuries in a collision involving a stolen moped.
Emergency services were called to reports of a single vehicle collision on Cary Parade in Torquay at around 2.40am on Tuesday 7 September.
The incident involved a stolen ZNEN 125cc moped. The road was closed for just over 4 hours whilst officers investigated the scene.
As a result of the collision, the rider of the moped sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital where his condition is described as stable.
Police have appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
