Police have appealed for witnesses following a serious collision between a car and pedestrian in Dawlish yesterday.
Emergency services were called at around 3pm following reports of a collision between a man in his 50’s and a Citroen Picasso on the A379 at Holcombe, Dawlish.
A number of road closures were put in place as paramedics and Air ambulance attended. The Air ambulance landed by the Smugglers Inn and the injured man was taken to Derriford Hospital with serious life threatening injuries, where he remains in a critical condition.
Police are appealing for witnesses and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the crash, or any vehicle which may have captured dash cam footage that could help with the investigation.
