The mobile testing unit at Torquay Coach Station in Lymington Road will be there until at least Thursday, 17 September (It will not be operating on Monday 14 September.)
A spokesperson for Torbay Council said: “Please note, Torbay is experiencing some problems with accessing COVID-19 testing as a result of national laboratory capacity for analysing tests of COVID-19 cases. This is a national issue. As a result, we are working hard to put additional local arrangements in place to boost our local testing availability until national testing capacity can be increased.”
If you have symptoms please book a test via the government website or by calling 119.
If you are unable to book a slot through the government website, please email email@example.com and you will be contacted by someone who will direct you to the nearest testing centre.
