Motorcyclist dies following accident in Paignton

A motorcyclist has died following an accident in Paignton earlier this evening, Saturday 4th May.

The incident happened on the A385, Totnes Road at Tweenaway.

Emergency services attended the scene at around 5.20pm.

Over in the Bay assisting with BMAD and Pirate Festival tonight. Currrntly serious RTC on Totnes Road junc Borough Rd involving motorcycle. Full road closure.

It has now been confirmed by police that the accident was fatal. The man’s next of kin have been informed.

The road remains closed between Kings Ash Road and Blagdon Road.

The road could remain closed for sometime as accident investigation work takes place.
