A motorcyclist has died following a single vehicle collision in Kingsteignton in the early hours of this morning, Friday 21 August.
Emergency services were called to reports of an accident on Strap Lane at 2.20am.
A 20-year-old from the Newton Abbot area was taken to Torbay District Hospital but sadly died shortly after.
Police closed the road whilst the scene was examined and they have appealed for witnesses who may have seen the collision, or the motorcycle travelling in the area prior to the incident.
Any CCTV owners on Strap Lane or motorists with relevant dash cam footage are also urged to contact police via 101@dc.police.uk or by telephone on 101, quoting log number 88 of 21/08/20.
