During the summer months dogs are restricted from Oddicombe Beach but October marks the start of the winter dog free for all and on the first Sunday of the month local people and their dogs come together to mark their renewed freedom at the celebrated Oddicombe Beach Dog Day, organised by The Blue Cross.
The event is always well attended but this year was busier than ever with nearly 200 people attending and taking part in competitions and races.
