Pedestrian who died after being hit by car named

Police have named the pedestrian who died following a collision on the A380 at Newton Abbot last month.

Tracy Wilson, 48, from Newton Abbot, died following the collision involving a car at around 11pm on the South Devon Highway on Monday 27th July.

Emergency services attended the scene but despite their best efforts, Tracy was confirmed deceased at the scene.

Her family have paid tribute to her: “In memory of a loving, beautiful, caring Mum, Nan, Sister and Daughter. You’ll always be in our thoughts. We love you forever.”

Police have appealed for anyone who was travelling in the area at the time and may have relevant dash-cam footage to get in touch.

Anyone who witnessed the incident and anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101@dc.police.uk quoting log 923 27/7/20.
