Person taken to hospital following RTC in Torquay.

Emergency services were called to the scene of a collision in Chelston, Torquay this evening.

The accident happened at around 5.15pm on Old Mill Road near the junction of Avenue Road.

Witnesses say there were 2 vehicles involved in the collision. It is thought a motorcycle was involved.

One person was taken to hospital via ambulance. The persons injuries are currently unknown.

The road was partially blocked whilst emergency services dealt with the incident. The road is now clear and open.
