Devon and Cornwall Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious assault in Chudleigh on Monday.
Emergency services were called to an address in Fore Street yesterday evening at around 8.30pm after reports of a man being assaulted.
A local 20 year old man was taken to Derriford hospital with stab wounds. The man has since been released
Officers are now appealing for witnesses are keen to speak to anyone who saw two men running away from the area at around 8.20pm.
Officers believe this was an isolated incident.
