Police appeal for witnesses following serious assault in car park

Police have appealed for witnesses to a serious assault in a car park in Kingsteignton.

The incident happened between 6.45pm and 7.05pm on Friday 23rdSeptember 2016 outside Halfords in the Hackney Retail Park, Newton Road.

1931: The Evil Gang of Babbacombe

A 20 year old man from Kingskerswell, was subjected to an unprovoked assault by three men whilst toping up his engine oil in the car park. The victim was hospitalised due to his injuries and has had surgery before being discharged a few days later.

DC Rich Jones said “We wish to speak to anyone who may have seen or heard this incident and anyone in the area at the time.  We are aware that there were potential witnesses in the area and the investigating officer is very keen to speak to these people to obtain their accounts.”
