Police have appealed to the public to help them locate a man who is a potential witness to an assault in Newton Abbot last month.

The man, who is thought to have been wearing orange-coloured, high-visibility trousers was walking up Hillmans Road between 7.20pm and 7.50pm on Wednesday 18 November. The man may have seen a woman running across the road and along Alexandra Terrace. She is believed to have shouted for him to call the police.
