Police appeal witnesses following assault outside nightclub

Police have appealed for witnesses following an assault outside of a nightclub at the weekend.

The incident happened on Derry’s Cross outside of Revolution Nightclub in Plymouth on Saturday 16th December at around 3.30am.

A man in his 20s required hospital treatment after being punched in the face several times.

Police say there were a number of people on the street at the time of the incident and have asked for anyone who witnessed or was involved in the incident to contact them. CCTV enquiries are being conducted.

Two men were arrested in connection with the matter and were released under investigation pending further enquiries.

Witnesses are asked to contact police via 101@dc.police.uk or by calling 101 quoting crime reference CR/108775/17.
