Police warn businesses about counterfeit notes

Police warned businesses to be aware after they received reports of counterfeit notes being used in the area.

Police have received reports of counterfeit Bank of England £20 notes being handed over in various locations in the South Devon area.

Police are urging businesses to be extra vigilant when receiving cash and would advise you check notes with a UV counterfeit detector pen.
