“A male and a female were stopped on the side of the road with a ‘baby’ in a car seat and appeared to be having a domestic incident.

“A caller stopped to check if everything was OK and noted that the child in the car seat was in fact a doll.

“Whilst the caller got out of his car, the male attempted to get into his car and drive off. Fortunately, the caller’s car was locked.

“They couple subsequently left the area very quickly in a blue VW polo with a registration similar to W901 YNC.

“It appears they will target rural and secluded areas.

“This is for caution if anybody notices a similar incident or whether they witnessed this. Please contact us on ‘101’ quoting log 252 of 05/02/2016”
