Police are reminding the public to keep their homes secure and valuables out of sight following a number of burglaries in the Kingskerswell area this month.
There have been a number of confirmed and attempted burglaries since 31/10/17.
Police have advised the public not to leave keys in the back of doors as offender(s) can reach through cat flaps and letter boxes in order to reach the keys and gain entry to properties.
They have also advised for the public to be wary of unusual callers and not to allow access unless you are expecting someome and they have valid identification. They have asked for people to report suspicious activity to them on 101.
Any information regarding the burglaries to the Police via email 101@dc.police.uk or by calling 101 quoting crime number CR/095901/17.
Information can also be passed anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or reporting online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
