Politics Torbay – New Weekly Meeting group starts up

Politics in Torbay, on the horizon

With a Snap-Election looming, uncertainty surrounding our membership of the EU and MP’s up and down the country being investigated for over-spending, an extremely divided nation needs uniting.

Every Thursday before the General Election at 7 pm, a group will be meeting to discuss all political matters, with the group stating its stance as being “non-partisan”.

Politics Torbay Group has invited the whole of Torbay, stating “now more than ever before, we need to unite and share our thoughts”

The group was formed to give people the opportunity to meet up and discuss or simply learn a bit more about policies, parties, and politics in general.

The aim of the group is to provide a platform for people to “have their views and opinions challenged, with focus on learning a thing or two on subjects you aren’t aware of”

The first meeting will take place at Bombay Express on Thursday 4th May at 7 pm. The second meeting location is dependant on the success of the first event.

People are encouraged to join the group to stay up to date with information, meeting locations and times.
