Update: The road is now open.
The A379 in Paignton is currently closed both ways due to a police incident.
Dartmouth Road is closed between Fisher Street and Penwill Way.
A spokesperson for Paignton Police said on Facebook:
“Incident ongoing in Great Western Road Paignton, Dartmouth road is closed from the Big tree roundabout to junction of penwill way. please use an alternative route where possible whilst traveling,”
