Road closed due to incident in Torquay

Update: Emergency services have left the scene at Greenway Close. Police and a private ambulance have were seen leaving the grounds of the nearby Acorn Centre at 4.45pm.

A road in the Watcombe area is currently closed due to an incident.

Emergency vehicles including police, fire crews, ambulance service are in attendance at Greenway Close in Torquay this afternoon, Sunday 3rd March.

The road has now been cornered off to public.

Those at the scene report the air ambulance has landed nearby.

The nature of the incident is currently unknown.
