Chatto Road in Torquay is currently closed for emergency repairs following flash floods yesterday, Thursday 27th August.
The road is closed both ways from Westhill Road to Shirburn Road.
The road surface was damaged following torrential rain.
Flooding affected roads and properties around the area, including Torquay town centre.
Fire crews were called to Ellacombe to assist with flooded homes.
It is not known when the road will reopen. Updates as information becomes available.
