A woman has died after being pulled out of the sea by members of the public.
The incident happened in Teignmouth last night around 8pm.
The woman in her 50’s died at the scene.
The police, ambulance, RNLI and coastguard were called to a woman struggling in the water. The woman is reported to have been alive when she was assisted from the water but sadly passed away shortly afterwards..
The woman’s next of kin have been informed.
