A spokesperson for Kingsbridge police said on Facebook last night, 20th March:
“This evening Police from across the South Hams assisted other Emergency Services at a derelict building where a 15 year old boy had fallen through the roof and was laying injured. The boy is currently in Derriford Hospital with serious injuries.

“This incident highlights the importance of staying away from such buildings. We had a spate of calls recently of teenagers entering a derelict building in Salcombe.

“Please ensure your children are aware of the dangers and consequences of entering such premises.”
