It’s Friday, we have nearly reached the weekend and if you’re lucky enough not to be working, you may be looking for something to do.
Monday is a bank holiday, so, if like me, you have children to entertain – you’ll probably be wanting to get out and about.
First up, BMAD is back for it’s 12th year. The bike festival on Paignton Green has something for everyone. With 2 stages, 30 bands, 50 different ales and 20 ciders and thousands of bikes, it will be well worth the visit.
Starting this evening at 6pm the event runs until Sunday (Fri 6pm-11pm, Sat 10am-11pm and Sunday 10am-7pm)
Wristband required to enter the music marquees – just £12 for a weekend pass. More info on: www.bmad.co.uk
Over in Brixham, starting on Saturday, 29th April, you’ll find Brixham Pirate Festival. Music, entertainment and fun. A great excuse for children (and adults!) to get dressed up and be a pirate for the day (or all weekend!)
The event runs until 1st May and is free but you can support it by purchasing a wristband for £1 a day. Each day, prizes will be up for grabs in a raffle for wristband holders.

Staying in Torbay, over in Torquay, you will find Aqua Adrenaline 2017 tour. This event starts today, 28th April and ends on Sunday 30th April. As well as powerboat and water ski racing, you’ll see fly boarding demonstrations and pop along to Beacon Quay to check out Hydropool Devon who will be showcasing their hot tubs and swim spas.
