Third person dies following Kingsteignton crash

A third person has died following a crash in Kingsteignton on Bank holiday Monday.

Emergency services were called to a two car collision on Clay Pitts Way at around 5.45pm on 28th August.

Police, fire and ambulance crews attended the incident along with the air ambulance.

The driver a 27-year-old man, and his passenger, a 17-year-old boy both from Chudleigh, died at the scene.

The driver of the second car, a 60-year-old man from Chudleigh was airlifted to Derriford but died in the early hours of this morning, Thursday 30th August.

Formal identification has yet to have taken place, but next of kin for all involved have been informed.

Police are still appealing for witnesses and would like to hear from anyone who saw either car prior to the collision.

Anyone with any information that can assist the Serious Collisions Unit with their investigation is asked to email 101@dc.police.uk quoting log number 771 for the 27 of August.
