Thousands of properties are without power due to a power cut.
Over 28,000 properties are affected by the incident.
The incident was first reported just before 5pm. The incident is descrobed as “High Voltage: These incidents tend to be larger, affecting the wider area and could mean your neighbours are off supply too.”
Western Power Distribution estimate that power will be returned by 6.30pm.
