Since finding out that Radio 1 would be holding their big weekend at Powederham Castle, we’ve all been waiting to find out how we can get tickets.
And today we found out…
50,000 tickets will be released during the Radio 1 Breakfast Show on 4th April.
So, more waiting but there is good news..
95% of tickets will be going to locals: 60% for residents in areas covered by Teignbridge District Council and Exeter City Council. 35% will go to those in surrounding areas – including TQ, PL, TA and EX postcodes. The remaining 5% will go to the rest of the UK.
Tickets will be available online or by telephone and will given out on a first come, first served basis.
The link to Ticketmaster will not be available on the Radio 1 website until booking opens.

The event, which is the biggest free ticketed event in Europe will held at Powderham Castle on 28 and 29 May.
Coldplay, Bring Me The Horizon, Ellie Goulding, Craig David, Jake Bugg, 1975 and Chase & Status have already been announced with more to be announced soon.
