It has been announced today, 3rd August, that Torbay Steam fair will be a two day show this year and will not be open to the public tomorrow, 4th August as previously planned.
The fair’s opening day has been cancelled due to torrential rain on Wednesday which has left the ground waterlogged.
The mini beer and music festival went ahead tonight as planned.
Torbay Steam Fair posted on Facebook today:
“Despite trying very hard to keep the ground clean the sheer amount of rain that fell yesterday has caused a few standing water problems and we need to let that drain away. With this strong wind the ground will dry quite quickly but the decision has been taken to help it out a bit too. Please share this notice to as many of your group as possible,”
