Want fun activities to keep the kids out of mischief over the holidays?
Torre Abbey Historic House and Gardens are running an extensive fun six weeks of summer activities programme for children during the school holidays.
Family fun activities are running every day throughout the summer and include trails, dressing up, drop in activities and creative workshops.
There is outdoor play with garden games, archaeology and a mud kitchen for kids in the beautiful gardens and palm houses – bring a picnic and relax or play!
Don’t forget, in addition to all the great activities, there are four floors of amazing galleries and over 800 years of history to discover.
Cllr Nicole Amil, Executive Lead for Tourism, Culture and Harbours, said: “This is an exciting summer family programme carefully put together within a beautiful setting. If you haven’t been to visit Torre Abbey, this really is a jewel in Torbay’s crown and this summer is a great opportunity to see this beautiful house and gardens while keeping the children entertained.”
Entry to the house and gardens is free for under 18s.
Opening times are 10am – 5pm, 7 days a week June – September.
